Wedding Cake FAQ

Payment is made when you submit your cake tasting form and enter your card information. You do not pay when you book the appointment by phone.

Your $35 includes three cake and filling combinations of your choosing with portions designed to serve up to four guests. Additional combinations are $10 each. The tasting fee reserves your appointment and covers the cakes we bake fresh for it.

Yes. Virtual consultations are complimentary. If you would prefer to plan by phone or email, we will send flavor information and work through your cake design with you virtually. A virtual consultation does not include a tasting. Tastings are in person at our Northbrook showroom.

We recommend scheduling three to six months before your event, especially May through August when dates fill quickly. Final cake details and guest count are due at least four weeks before your event.

Yes. Additional cake and filling combinations are $10 each.

Yes. You may select up to two cake and filling combinations across your tiers.

Bring inspiration photos, color swatches, fabric samples, invitations, or any details that reflect your style and event design.

With at least 48 hours notice, your $35 tasting fee transfers to another date. The fee is not refundable. To reschedule, call 847-272-5900 or contact us. With less than 48 hours notice, a new tasting form and a new $35 fee are required.
